Volunteers are responsible for so many of the wonderful things that go on at Franklin. From field trips to assemblies to the new-and-improving Media Center, volunteers make it all possible.

Art Docents come in once a month to lead art lessons in their child’s classroom. The training for Art Docent will be at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, September 25, in the Multipurpose Room. The new books are here, but they’re not quite ready for prime time. We need volunteers to help label and cover the new acquisitions so they can withstand the hands of so many eager readers. Please contact Meghan Forder if you’d like to help.
The Book Fair is a pop-up kids’ bookstore at our school that both promotes reading and raises money for Franklin. We need volunteers willing to set up, staff, and then disassemble the store when it’s over. Our wonderful lunchtime supervisors can always use an extra pair of eyes out on the playground at lunch recess. We are happy to have people one day a week, one day a month, or whenever a free day comes up. Please contact Meghan Forder if you’re interested.
