Siobhan Wong-Langlois
Introduction:
My name in Siobhan Wong-Langlois and I am one of the new first grade teachers here at Franklin.
I grew up in Berkeley, going through the entire Berkeley Public School system, before graduating from UC Berkeley in 2008. Public education is a passion of mine, and I come from a long line of teachers and social workers. Both my grandparents worked closely with the pioneering social activist Dorothy Day in the 1920's and 30's. Day even introduced my grandparents in hopes that they would become an item, and 60 years later I was born! Thank you Dorothy. My experiences and background have given me a great understanding of the immense potential that public schools have, and I'm so happy to be serving the Franklin community. In my life outside of school, I love to travel with my husband, cook, swim, exercise, dance, be silly, and play with my dog -- Wayne. I also love learning new things, and from what I’ve seen so far, the little ones at Franklin do to. Hope you're all having a great year and feel free to stop me and say hi. Upcoming classroom events:
